Junior Interior Designer

As our team and business continues to grow, so do our studio needs. We are looking for a full-time Junior Interior Designer to join us immediately!

This position is full-time, and presently partly working in-studio and in-home based on physical distancing requirements. We are following all WorkSafe BC protocols for the workplace.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a CIDA accredited institution in Interior Design
- Previous studio experience (even through work weeks) is preferred but not required
- Proficient in AutoCAD LT, Sketchup and Photoshop
- Functional knowledge of common computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Great writing and speaking skills, and you communicate effectively with others
- Highly organized and efficient with tasks
- Excellent visual presentation skills
Key Duties
- Assisting in documentation of design by drawing and specification writing, with oversight by team leads
- Assisting design teams with presentation preparations, construction board preparation, and general items
- Visual, written, and verbal communication with excellence to suppliers, and colleagues
- Point person for Sales representatives inquiries, and keeping an orderly reference library/ database
- Follow office protocol and procedures, and established procedure
